Thursday 8th July - Saturday 10th July 2010

    Curses, Foiled Again
by Evelyn Hood
directed by John Banks

A play within a play about a struggling amateur dramatic group struggling to put on a one act festival play. To make matters worse the group have chosen to do a Victorian melodrama written by, directed by and starred in by their leading actor Henry. It all gets a bit fraught as the cast increasingly fall short of Henry’s exacting standards. Still he finds time to flirt with the lovely Stephanie, squabble with his partner Sandra and fall out with the rest of the cast.

Dead Nice
by Andrea MacPhail
to be directed by Sue Morgan

When Sonia dies, the last person she wants to meet in Heaven is her rival Trish. The last person Trish wants to meet is the woman who murdered her. Or did she? A few revelations unite the women in their struggle to put things right.

Monologues to be performed by Isi Dixon and Candice Gush.
