A crime mystery. A man called Stone calls the police, seeking help for his son who is in trouble with drug dealers. Detective Superintendent Hallett turns up to meet him, but all is not as it seems. Who is Stone? What has happened to his son? Where is his wife and why has she invited celebrated crime writer Dee Redmond to come and see her? It could be, they are all in the same "business".
